With a minimum width of 60mm, the P261 rafter supported glazing bar by Twinfix is designed to be sat on rafters.  The base gasket is 60mm wide and is fixed to the rafter every 300mm by galvanised nails (not supplied by us).  It comes with an aluminium screw down cap and each bar is fitted with bubble gaskets that ideally should be screwed down every 300mm to 500mm.  Plastic screw cover caps should ideally be used with each capping screw.  Each bar length comes with a push on end plate to finish it off.

The P261 glazing bar can be used to install multiwall or solid polycarbonate and also glass.  We recommend that you use one of our mechanical end plates when glazing with glass though.  You will need to contact your glass supplier for recommended rafter sizes and tolerances (glazing centres).

This glazing bar system is stocked as individual packs in white, brown & anthracite grey (RAL7016) in a either 3m or 4m lengths.

Additional individual end plates are also available separately.
